Frostenden Hall is a Grade II* listed former Manor House. The star was awarded for the outstanding panelling and moulded ceiling in the double guest bedroom. The Hall dates from the middle of the 17th century although the facade is 18th century.

The Hall is set in mature gardens overlooking the church with its Saxon round tower. Round tower churches are a feature of this part of East Anglia and are very rare in the rest of the country. The round tower at Frostenden has been dated to AD937.

Frostenden Hall is set on a 600 acre arable farm with a good network of public footpaths allowing visitors to enjoy the
surrounding countryside.

Conveniently situated at the end of a short road which just leads to the church and Hall, just off the A12, the location is peaceful and secluded. It is 4 miles from Southwold and within easy reach of Beccles, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings famous for its musical concerts. The RSPB Minsmere bird reserve is only a short distance away making Frostenden Hall a perfect base for a wide variety of interests.

Because of the special architectural interest of the Hall it has not been possible to provide en-suite bathrooms. A large private bathroom is available for use by guests and we do provide snuggly bathrobes for guests' use!
