Horseshoe Cottage is a great holiday location from which to experience the delights of Southwold. As you step out of the front door you can turn right for the open spaces of Southwold Common or turn left for South Green, Gun Hill and the Beach. There is also easy level access to Southwold's shops, tea rooms, pubs and Town facilities.

From a recessed entrance (with horseshoe on the wall) the front door opens into a wide and welcoming parquet floored hallway with understairs cupboard. The wall barometer will keep you informed of the likely weather during your stay and the hall table is handy for keys. Stairs lead up.

Throughout Horseshoe Cottage there is interesting artwork and pictures displayed. The property is well-kept and decorated. Heating is by night storage heaters with additional electric heaters. High ceilings and comfortable furnishings make this a relaxing base from which to explore Southwold.

Glazed door from hallway. Range of units and wall cupboards gives plenty of storage space. Lit by spot lights. Kitchen table and two chairs. Electric oven with extractor hood. Coffee maker, microwave oven, double toaster, knife block, crockery and cutlery. Hotpoint fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. One and a half bowl sink. Door to courtyard.

Courtyard with recycling bins. Fully enclosed and gated. Useful access to alleyway leading to Lorne Road. Brick outbuilding housing WC and incorporating outhouse with Hotpoint tumble dryer, washing machine, garden chairs and storage for beach items.
