The Magic of Minsmere - Weekday Walk

Event lasts two to three hours. BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Never been to Minsmere before? Then this is the walk for you! With over 5300 recorded species and a wealth of history and archaeological highlights at Minsmere, there is so much to discover. Our friendly and knowledgeable RSPB guides will take you through the sights and sounds to be enjoyed at this time of year. Walks are tailored according to the season and visitor knowledge. Children must be accompanied at all times. Places are limited so booking is essential.

Halesworth & District U3A : HUMAN EVOLUTION, a Talk

With Professor Robert Foley who is the Leverhulme Professor of Human Evolution at the Uinversity of Cambridge, a Fellow of King's College, and a Fellow of the British Academy.

His talk will discuss recent developments in our udnerstanding of how and why humans evolved has changed in recent years, drawing on new fossil discoveries, new approaches drawn from genetics and other sciences, and new ideas about how evolution works.
