Amazing Autumn Wildlife at RSPB Minsmere

Event lasts approx three hours. BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Discover what makes Minsmere such a special place to visit in autumn as our guides show you some of our wildlife and historical highlights. We’ll look for migrant birds as they arrive, depart or simply pass through, as well as late insects and flowers and perhaps the odd mammal.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

– 13:00 on Sunday, 27th October 2019
Organised by: Southwold Millennium Foundation
Venue: Southwold Lighthouse, Stradbroke Road, Southwold IP18 6LW link
Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

Apple Day and Local Food Fair

With apple-pressing demonstration, Orchard tour, Apple Bobbing, Apple identification service, Raffle, Tombola and Refreshments. Local foods include preserves, ice cream, honey, eggs, cakes etc plus non-food items such as plants, bulbs and soaps. in aid of the Huntingfield Millennium Green CIO charity.
