EAST COAST BLUES BAND

on Friday, 24th September 2021
Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
Since the late 1980s some of the region’s finest musicians have helped to create the East Coast Blues Band sound. Now evolved into a trio, they have taken their distinctive blend of blues, rock, funk and reggae throughout East Anglia and beyond, to pubs, festivals, parties and weddings. They appeared at Gig in The Park and Waveney Greenpeace Fair, backing rock legend Arthur Brown (of Crazy World) on two occasions. More than a blues band, with an authentic grasp of the devil’s music, they transform a range of material (much of it original) so that people of all ages find the rhythm and relish for improvisation irresistible. Featuring
Laurie Johnson - guitar, vocals, Andy Barber - bass , vocals, Dacre Peck - drums, vocals.
Ticket Details: Standard ticket £10
