Birdwatching for Beginners, at RSPB Minsmere

No experience needed, and binoculars available to hire if needed.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

Suffolk Libraries Presents: The Importance of Being Earnest

Suffolk Libraries Presents are amazing performances and cultural events recorded live and screened using top quality projection equipment. Today at 2:30pm and at 7:30pm a ‘brilliantly funny’ and ‘charming’ new production of one of the funniest plays in English, Oscar Wilde’s 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. Filmed live at the Vaudeville Theatre in London. Wilde’s much-loved masterpiece throws love, logic and language into the air to make one of theatre’s most dazzling firework displays. Jack, Algy, Gwendolyn and Cecily discover how unsmooth runs the course of true love, while Lady Bracknell keeps a baleful eye on the mayhem of manners.
Michael Fentiman’s ‘absolutely hilarious’ adaptation stars Olivier Award winner Sophie Thompson and Jeremy Swift alongside Fiona Button, Pippa Nixon and Stella Gonet.
