Surprising Summer Wildlife at RSPB Minsmere

Slaughter in Southwold: Southwold Library Crime Writers Festival

Slaughter in Southwold weekend taking place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June, plus Murder Mystery Musical on Saturday 8th June 2:30pm and 7:30pm, Murder Mystery Night Friday 14th June 7:00pm, and Fun Crime Quiz Night on Saturday 15th June at 7:00pm (see separate entries). OPEN DAY AT STEAMWORKS

The SteamWorks site in Blyth Road lies adjacent to the 1879 Southwold Railway trackbed and close to the site of Southwold Station. Just ten minutes' walk from the town centre, it is where The Southwold Railway Trust volunteers are working on locomotives and rolling stock, with the aim of re-creating the experience of travelling on the 3-foot gauge Southwold Railway (operated 1879-1929).
Come and see how this site is being transformed, the 3-foot gauge steam engine Scaldwell, the Blyth Valley Light Railway (a 7.25 inch railway), and learn more of what the Trust is achieving. Refreshments available. Shop. All Welcome.

Tour of Southwold Lighthouse

Southwold Lighthouse provides a waymark for vessels navigating the east coast and guides vessels making for Southwold Harbour. On selected dates tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House, take approximately 30 minutes, and are on the hour and half hour. To climb the tower there is a minimum height restriction of 1.1 metres tall.
Ticket Details: Adult £4, Child 16 years and under £3, Family of 2 adults + up to 3 children £12. CASH ONLY PLEASE.

EPP Film Evening - STAN AND OLLIE (PG)
