This unique scroll was painted by J Dornan Turner during the summer months of 1931 and 1932 and depicts every house in Walberswick. On view today at 10am, 11am and 12 noon. Commentary given by John English.

MIGHTY THREE-DAY BOOKS ‘N' BRIC-A-BRAC SALE

Southwold Lions Club Bank Holiday FETE

Venue: Southwold Common & Sports Pavilion link
A traditional Fete to be opened by Southwold Town Mayor who will parade to the Common from the Town Hall. Fete features Tea Tent, Punch & Judy entertainment, music from the Wrentham Town Band, Morris Dancers, and much more. Various stalls.

Afternoon Concert at Walpole Old Chapel

Julie Theaker (Soprano) and Paul Theaker (Guitar) perform lute songs by John Dowland and sonnets by John Clare, and Benjamin Britten's English Folk Songs for voice and guitar, in this atmospheric Grade II* listed building. Once a farmhouse, but with a long history as a non-conformist meeting house, evidenced by its superb interior.
