Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
A retrospective screening of dance films by Mel Horwood who sadly died Christmas 2021 after a short illness. These pieces are a celebration of her core belief that we all have dance within us. Mel also believed in the power of Community Dance and encouraged participants to create their own movement and have fun collaborating and performing. This event is a chance to view Mel’s films as a collection illustrating her approach to choreography and film. They are all created within the Suffolk landscape; exploring the themes and relevance of places as well as people. This is a free event and open to all. Including a 45 min interval, with tea and cake provided.
Ticket Details: NB. Seats allocated on the day. Free event - open to all. Please book a seat. See ticketsource.co.uk/booking/venueplan/AfrxtNOjRhbp
