The Magic of Minsmere - Weekend Walk

Never been to Minsmere before? Then this is the walk for you! With over 5600 recorded species and a wealth of history and archaeological highlights at Minsmere, there is so much to discover. Our friendly and knowledgeable RSPB guides will take you through the sights and sounds to be enjoyed at this time of year. Walks generally last 3-4 hours and are tailored according to the season and visitor knowledge. Children must be accompanied at all times. Places are limited so booking is essential.

Lantern Making Crafts ahead of Festival of Lights at 4:30pm

After the success of the 2016 festival at Halesworth's Millennium Green we are hoping this will be annual event. There will be lantern-making crafts at the Library between 12noon and 2:30pm, and then at 4.30pm we will gather outside the front of the library, where the Oxblood Molly Dancers will start the procession with a dance. We will meander to the Green, and along the paths to the Willow Wherry, where there will be fires, and we will have a chance to celebrate the new year of wonders at the Green. Do wear warm clothes, boots, and if you can, bring torches, lanterns, and a hot flask to drink! All ages welcome to join in.

Sunday Afternoon Recitals - The Tessa Fuchs Chamber Series

Recitals take place on February 12th and 26th, also March 12th and 26th. Today we welcome Martin James Bartlett, the dynamic young pianist who was voted BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2014, at the age of 17. Programme includes works by J S Bach, Schumann, Granados, Ginastera and Barber.
