THE DRIFTER

19:30 on Friday, 23rd June 2017
Venue: The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth IP19 8BY link
The Drifter's unique music has a distinctly Andalusian flamenco flavour – and draws inspiration from the great Spanish virtuoso guitarist Paco de Lucía – skilfully and subtly blended with African undertones for a truly unique and contemporary sound.

Just as a griot – a West African storyteller – uses their musical expertise to tell stories, the Drifter's fast and fluent picados and rasgueados, abstract chords and scale tones entertain, excite and captivate, taking the listener on a journey through life. Every piece tells a tale.
Ticket Details: Standard ticket £12.00
